Dr. India Presley-Boyd, DNP, APRN

Dr. India Presley-Boyd had the desire to be a nurse since the age of 3. As a first generation college student she triumphed through generational barriers and fulfilled that dream. Her nursing journey began as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit. As an intensive care nurse Dr. Presley-Boyd developed her critical thinking skills early in her career with the ability to analyze high level assessment data to make life changing decisions. As a registered nurse Dr. Presley-Boyd is well rounded. She has worked in various states as a travel nurse and disaster relief nurse for natural disasters such as hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

After gaining an abundance of experience as a registered nurse, Dr. Presley-Boyd went back to school to obtain a masters degree and become a nurse practitioner. As a nurse practitioner she has experience with acute/chronic disease management, weight loss, injections and post surgical care.

In recent years Dr. Presley-Boyd received a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. With this degree she has an expanded knowledge base for the healthcare field. Furthermore, Dr. Presley-Boyd utilizes her enhanced knowledge to educate her patients and nursing students.
