Dr. India Presley-Boyd, DNP, APRN

Dr. India Presley-Boyd’s lifelong passion for nursing began at the young age of 3. Overcoming generational barriers as a first-generation college student, she turned her dream into reality. Dr. Presley-Boyd began her nursing career as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit. She developed strong critical thinking skills, which she used to analyze complex assessment data and make important decisions. In her remarkable career, she has served as a travel nurse and rendered crucial aid in the face of natural disasters like Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

Building upon her vast experience as a registered nurse, Dr. Presley-Boyd pursued a master’s degree and became a nurse practitioner. With a specialized focus on managing acute and chronic diseases, weight loss, administering injections, and post-surgical care, she possesses a vast range of skills to deliver comprehensive healthcare.

In May 2021, Dr. Presley-Boyd achieved an incredible milestone by earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, which has greatly enhanced her understanding and proficiency in the field of healthcare. With her newly acquired expertise, she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to offering exceptional care for her patients, while also enlightening aspiring nursing students and empowering her patients with a vast amount of knowledge and understanding.
